Busy, busy, busy!
Thanks to Jowilna Nolte from Imagine Magazine who taught the class - and wow - what a project. I think I can safely say that every single person who attended, loved the class and the project PLUS 15% of the sales from the class have been donated to ScrapPink. We're raising funds for a great cause and every bit helps!
I was so happy to have breast cancer survivor, Erika, in the class. I gave her one huge BIG hug because she's been on a tough journey through chemo and everything else that comes with a breast cancer diagnosis. She and many other breast cancer survivors are the ones who have motivated me and inspired me to make ScrapPink happen. What amazing, amazing women you all are. Then there are those who have been through the journey, fought the battle and said goodbye to us.

Christy's style

HANDWRITING TIP # 1: use your own handwriting (good place to start!)
Many of us have more than one style of handwriting - probably cursive and print, hurried and slow, depending on what we are writing. If you're like me (Tanya), you scribble down your shopping list in a hurry, but take care and time in writing in a birthday card. Look at the difference in style and then play with those styles. Find a notebook to practice in. Write slow. Write fast. Write messy. Write neat. Write BIG. Write small. Just write! We are all so used to email that we never get to write much these days. So here's my challenge JUST WRITE whenever you can this week. Practice your styles in a notebook, write a letter, journal and enjoy it. I promise to share my practicing with you!

HOPE in Paris

Jardin des Tuileries is one of those parks where you can grab a chair for free and sit wherever you like. It also features several fountains, two large basins, numerous sculptures and two museums, the Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume and the Musée de l'Orangerie, which displays Claude Monet's large water lily paintings . Those two buildings are the only remains of the original Palais de Tuileries.

Unfortunately HOPE didn't have time to go shopping on the Champs-Elysees but she did manage to have lunch in the Park and enjoy all the sights!

HOPE visits Italy
Trevi Fountain
Rome

Colosseum
Rome
Pompeii
near Naples
It was destroyed and completely buried, during a catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius spanning two days on 24 August 79 AD.
The volcano collapsed higher roof-lines and buried Pompeii under many meters of ash and pumice, and it was lost for nearly 1700 years before its accidental rediscovery in 1748. Since then, its excavation has provided an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city at the height of the Roman Empire. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Italy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
